Our Commitment

Giving Back

We have a long tradition in supporting local charities and community projects, driven by a commitment to assist those facing significant challenges.

Supporting Our Regions

As a long-established and international family business, we recognise the need to support local charities and community projects in the regions where we are based. The spirit of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is ingrained in everything we do and plays a key part in how we operate as a business.

Orion Group has always been committed to ‘giving back’ and supporting good causes. It seems more common now than ever before that people are encountering greater challenges in their day-to-day lives, and we understand that we have a duty to engage and help those most in need.

Charities

Here are some of the charities we are delighted to support:

Marie Curie

Marie Curie is the largest independent provider of end-of-life care and the largest charitable provider of hospice care beds in Scotland. As well as nursing and hospice care, they have Companion volunteers and charity shops across the country.

Highland Hospice

Highland Hospice services are offered free of charge to all those in the region who need them. They work in partnership with local communities, support professional and unpaid carers, providing care that puts the needs of the individual and their families at the centre of decision-making.

Maggie's Highlands

Maggie’s offers the best possible support free to anyone with cancer and their families who walk through our doors. Centres can be found alongside many NHS hospitals where they provide professional support for anything from treatment side effects to money worries.

Cash for Kids

Cash for Kids is dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. Their mission is to be there when needed most, helping combat poverty, illness and neglect, making living with additional needs that little bit easier, or simply offering a helping hand.

Sponsorships
