Industry Experience:
Served a welding apprenticeship then worked as a welder in the Oil & Gas/ Shipbuilding industry, working both onshore and offshore on a worldwide basis moving up to Welding Superintendent, Construction Manager before making a career change due to my wife taking ill and had to work closer to home. First step into recruitment was with Dietsmann, followed on by Joining Babcock Acetech, then finally moving to Orion in 2007 to continue my career in recruitment.
Skills:
Main duties are the daily running of the Dunfermline office, assisting and supporting team members on the day to day recruitment processes and ensuring we deliver the best service possible to our clients at all times, our main specialities at Dunfermline are skilled trades, manufacturing and processing and Office Admin and support etc but we are diversifying into other sectors as we progress so that we are in a position to provide a full one shop does all service for our current clients and potential clients.
Qualifications:
- FREC in recruitment
- SCQF Level 5 Mental Health First Aider
- British Safety Council Level 1 in Health and Safety at Work
- British Safety Council Level 2 in Risk Assessment
