CPO Hub Manager - Electric Vehicle Charging

Our client is a leading force in the transition to sustainable transportation, focused on developing a safe, reliable, and accessible EV charging network across the UK and Ireland. With a target of deploying 300 ultra-fast EV hubs (3,000 charging points) over the next five years, they are committed to providing efficient and environmentally friendly charging solutions powered by renewable energy.

Role Overview:

As a CPO Hub Manager, you will play a crucial role in the operations team, ensuring the seamless management and performance of EV charging hubs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing charger onboarding, setup, and remote commissioning for new ultra-rapid hubs.
• Ensuring compliance with industry uptime regulations and best practices.
• Providing technical support to optimise asset performance, diagnose faults, and minimise lifecycle costs.
• Collaborating with internal teams, supply chain partners, and technology providers to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• Expertise in Charge Point Operator (CPO) platforms, including experience with OCPP & OCPI protocols and charger management software.
• Strong background in electrical engineering and electronics, with the ability to conduct technical fault analysis.
• Knowledge of the EV charging industry, specifically ultra-rapid hub operations (preferred but not essential).
• Proven experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and software-based charger management.
• Proficiency in relevant software platforms, databases, and standard office applications (MS/O365).
