EC&I Commissioning Engineer

THIS POSITION IS INSIDE OF IR35, BASED AT SELLAFIELD


Job Description / Role 

  • To carry out vendor testing witnessing duties at works test.
  • Preparation of plant commissioning test specifications
  • Early inspection of site installation to facilitate system handovers
  • Execution of testing activities throughout IPC commissioning phase
  • Identification of faults and ability to propose and implement solutions
  • Organisation of Commissioning Technicians and support resources
  • Initiation and implementation of FOBs
  • Validation of Working Level Instructions
  • Application and removal of Temporary Commissioning Aids


Essential Experience & Qualifications:

  • CE&I systems commissioning
  • Minimum - HNC/HND in Engineering related subject
  • Experience in nuclear commissioning, preferably
  • Project management knowledge, preferably APM member
  • Calculation production using Excel.
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • CSCS/ECS supervisory card relevant to trade
