Groundworker (Deep Drainage)

Orion Group are looking for an experienced Groundworker with a strong background in deep drainage and sheet piling to join our clients team on a longterm contract starting Monday 3rd March. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently to the highest standards. 


Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out deep drainage installation, including trench work and pipe laying

Installing and working with sheet piles for ground support

Reading and interpreting site plans and drawings

Operating small plant machinery and tools as required

Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations

Working as part of a team to meet project deadlines


Requirements:
Proven experience as a Groundworker with deep drainage & sheet piling

Valid CSCS card (Essential)

CPCS/NPORS for plant operation i.e Forwrd Tipping Dumper (Desirable)

Confined Spaces & Street Works tickets (Desirable)

Strong awareness of health & safety procedures

Ability to work as part of a team and independently
