About the Role: Our client is looking for an experienced Instrumentation Supervisor OPS to join the Field Operations (FOPS) site team. This is a rotational role based in Buliisa, overseeing the instrumentation maintenance and operations across a complex oil & gas facility, including the Central Processing Facility (CPF), 29 wellpads, and an LPG extraction plant.

About the Role: Our client is looking for an experienced Instrumentation Supervisor OPS to join the Field Operations (FOPS) site team. This is a rotational role based in Buliisa, overseeing the instrumentation maintenance and operations across a complex oil & gas facility, including the Central Processing Facility (CPF), 29 wellpads, and an LPG extraction plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise instrumentation maintenance activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Manage and coordinate instrumentation work across Gas Turbines (GTGs), gas compressors, flow meters, analyzers, and fire & gas sensors.
- Ensure maintenance planning, execution, and optimization are carried out effectively using digital tools (IMS, PI AF, Maintenance Advisor, etc.).
- Support the commissioning, start-up teams, and site personnel in achieving production readiness.
- Conduct failure investigations, vendor management, and technical audits to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with IECEX-ATEX regulations and hazardous area requirements.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to site teams to enhance competency.
- Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to improve performance and service quality.
- Degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector.
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (IECEX, ATEX, SIL, TotalEnergies GS & GM).
- Hands-on experience with ICSS, HMI tools, and CMIMS (SAP, UNISOL preferred).
- Strong digital competency in using advanced monitoring and predictive maintenance tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
