Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Lead Integrity Engineer, based in Aberdeen with occasional trips to Barrow required.

Responsibilities:
Assure condition of company assets:
- Provide leadership to the asset team and site execution contractors, ensuring compliance with statutory regulation, company policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance, and change if require, to Performance Standards and proscribed assurance tasks, ultimately assuring the condition of structural and ‘static’ equipment to prevent failure and Loss of Containment (LOC).
- Ensure asset integrity work is effectively planned via the asset Integrated Activity Planning (IAP), process and long range / 8Q planning process adhered to.
Data / data systems management:
- Ensuring that all inspection data is gathered and processed through company systems as per procedure and in line with local legislative requirements.
- Development and continuous update of the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) programme, and accountable for the timely completion and approval of Integrity Reviews (IR).
- Ensure the team carry out timely analysis of inspection results and, where required, specify appropriate prioritisation and timelines of remedial actions, working with relevant parties to complete repairs as agreed and to plan.
- Capture all asset engineering modifications (Greenfield/Brownfield/ decommission), within the inspection programme e.g. baseline inspections, removal of inspection routines, IDMS update etc. (application / adherence to MOC process).
- Working with peers, continuously develop and monitor common, automated, asset integrity Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), that measure asset health, ‘risk’ and regulatory and internal compliance.
- Ensure integration of asset integrity data within other company management systems e.g. RiskPoynt barrier model, threats register, and the broader business has awareness of asset integrity status and condition.
- Ensure ‘deferrals’ are raised as appropriate and that company Safety and Environmentally Critical (SECE), backlog target of zero hours is achieved.
Budget and contract management:
- Define, manage, and control the asset integrity budget for their asset. Ensure integrity programmes are included in annual and long-range plan and are fully supported by appropriate budget and resource requirements.
- Manage budgets through the year and provide Latest View (LV), forecasts as required by the business.
- Identify opportunities to rationalise and reduce cost and advise if there is risk of overspend.
- Technical contract owner for deployment of inspection services and fabric maintenance, and monitoring of ongoing contractor performance (and feedback to contract organisations).
Specific Requirements:
- Educated to degree level
- Incorporated / Chartered Engineer status
- The job holder must possess strong operational knowledge of the upstream or other high hazard industry.
- Significant experience in engineering and operations.
- Significant experience within asset integrity; RBI programmes, inspection, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Fitness for Service assessment, Non-Invasive Inspection (NII) programmes.
- Track record of continuous professional development.
- Describe the key technical skills required to perform the role and articulate the breadth and depth of the requirement as appropriate
- Conversant with UK regulatory environment, standards and industry best practice.
- Experienced and full understanding of Risk Based Inspection programmes, models / software systems, and degradation mechanisms.
- Experienced and full understanding with maintenance management systems e.g. SAP and their interaction with RBI systems.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and external regulatory bodies.
