Great opportunity to work as a Principal Environmental Consultant - Permitting for one of the largest and most reptuable Environmental Permitting teams in the UK. The role will contribute to the management of and develop the work of the environmental permitting team. Support and manage existing clients. The work is office based but will involve site visits and attendance at meetings.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the team’s multidisciplinary work and manage the preparation of work.
- Engage with existing clients.
- Prepare quotes and invoices, support the management of projects.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work as part of a team and to engage with clients and regulators.
- Excellent time and organisational skills allowing completion of work to time and budget.
- Take responsibility for project delivery, use initiative and work without supervision.
- Excellent written skills.
Essential Criteria:
- First degree in a relevant Science or Geography or Civil Engineering.
- Good IT skills especially MS Word and Excel.
- A minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of permitting and how permitting and other regulatory frameworks interact.
- Detailed understanding of environmental risk assessment tools e.g. LandSim / H1.
- Have good knowledge of EMS and QMS.
