We are seeking a highly motivated, mechanically inclined Production Technician with a growth mindset who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on, field-based environment.
As a Production Technician, you’ll play a key role in field operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to:
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Diagnose issues and conduct root cause failure analysis
- Handle contractor work and ensure safety and compliance
- Conduct pre- and post-job reviews
- Collect data and validate field conditions
- Investigate customer or third-party issues
What You'll Be Doing:
- Troubleshooting and maintaining field equipment
- Communicating effectively with remote staff via phone, video, or virtual assist tools
- Using data and analytics to resolve field issues and make informed decisions
- Supporting safe and efficient operations from reservoir to sales line
- Engaging in quality assurance, safety checks, and process verifications
- Adapting to changing conditions and driving improvements through collaboration
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions
- Occasional operation of power equipment and lifting/moving up to 50 lbs
- Periodic desk work, including computer and phone use
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Experience with oil and gas operating systems
- Basic failure analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working with high-pressure systems (up to 3,000 psig)
- Curiosity and aptitude for learning new technologies
- Growth mindset and adaptability to changing environments
- Background in oil and gas or industrial manufacturing
- Knowledge of components such as level controllers, valves, switches, pumps, and flare systems
- Familiarity with artificial lift systems (gas lift compression, ESPs, rod pumps)
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
- Ability to remain effective during frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events
