About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join our client’s team in Glasgow. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the successful execution of engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring technical excellence, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative water treatment and process solutions, contributing to projects that serve global energy and industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including reviewing specifications, drawings, and documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure technical requirements and project milestones are met.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Support the continuous improvement of project execution processes and best practices.
Key Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or equivalent discipline) or relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience in project engineering within water treatment, oil & gas, or related industries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and project execution methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with engineering software and project management tools is advantageous.
  • Understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
