Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Project Manager (Supply Chain Operational Excellence Project Manager) for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract. Hybrid role, where you have to be onsite 1-2 days a week.

Role Summary

Core Responsibilities of the role
- Act as an OE role model.
- Oversee and execute on various projects.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics that track improvements.
- Support digital transformation.
- The Operational Excellence Project Manager will report to the Manager Enablement and will work together daily with the enablement team and other stakeholders overseeing and executing various projects within the OE strategy of the Global Distribution Hub EMEA organization.
- Manage and execute on established projects within the OE strategy.
- Provide Yellow Belt training
- Support and guide yellow/green belt project implementations.
- Use a variety of data sources to blend, consolidate and analyze data for efficient delivery and reporting.
- Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving and process improvement workshops, such as Lessons Learned and Retrospectives (Fishbone / 5-Why).
- Leverage advanced analytics and visualization technologies.
- Develop/maintain OE strategy and roadmap within GDH EMEA.
- Foster a culture of OE and Continuous Improvement.
- Anticipate change, initiate innovative Supply Chain concepts & services.
- Drive productivity initiatives within the Global Distribution Hub EMEA Organization.
- Develop/evolve and apply data tool set to analyze processes and realize improvements.
- Master’s degree or equivalent related to Supply Chain / Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering & 5 years of directly related experience.
- Understanding of OE and LEAN principles.
- Proven track record in LEAN management (Green Belt certified).
- Experience with coaching people on Kaizen/Projects.
- Preferred Black Belt certified
- Good understanding of GDP and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain concepts.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau/Microsoft Power BI, Smartsheet or equivalent)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Experience in working in an international environment, ability to liaise/communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English, in both oral and written communication.
- High learning agility, self-directed and results oriented.
- Analytical and strong conceptual thinking.
- Hands-on and pragmatic.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, for multiple levels in organization, including presentations.
- Demonstrated capability to influence others to deliver results.
