Role Synopsis This Reservoir Engineering position supports deepwater assets and acreage in the western hemisphere. It is a high-profile role requiring an applicant with strong initiative, influence, communication skills, and technical judgment. The work involves collaboration with other engineering disciplines, geoscientists, and finance teams.

Key Accountabilities
- Provide sound reservoir engineering technical analysis, judgment, and guidance to support the identification, evaluation, and progression of value-generating resources and exploration/appraisal opportunities.
- Generate development plan scenarios and conduct concept screening to ensure an economic and viable development concept for project progression.
- Support and/or lead the analysis and application of Discovered Resource Management guidelines to discovered volumes and contribute to appropriate documentation.
- Ensure subsurface products align with technical expectations for sanction decision quality of development.
- Describe subsurface uncertainties and define work products needed to sufficiently explore those uncertainties.
- Build appropriate models to describe and test a range of sensitivities, utilizing classical and/or numerical methods based on scope, available data, and analogs.
- Collaborate with integrated production and/or exploration teams.
- Support the well-planning process for upcoming exploration, appraisal, and development wells, as well as analyze, interpret, and integrate data acquired from E&A wells.
- Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in reservoir engineering, petroleum engineering, or a related field.
- Sponsorship of employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions is not available for this role.
- Direct hands-on experience with analytical/numerical reservoir engineering toolkits (e.g., PETEX IPM, Nexus, Pressure Transient Analysis, Decline Curve Analysis) to assess risk and uncertainty management.
- Experience in classical reservoir engineering, reservoir management, and field development planning.
- Experience in well and project planning processes, including drilling operations, well evaluations, and facility options.
- Experience in deepwater exploration, appraisal, and field development.
- Experience in subsurface project evaluation and value of information analysis.
- Developing proficiency in data science and analytics.
- Enthusiasm for geoscience.
- Limited to no travel required.
