Rotating Equipment Engineer

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Rotating Equipment Engineer, based onshore in Aberdeen on a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities:
  • Rotating Equipment engineer to provide day to day discipline engineering support to the UK Nelson offshore asset.
  • The person should be qualified (degree level - BSC, MEng) and experienced to be able to operate at a mid-career autonomous level.
  • The appointed person will be expected to have worked for a UK Oil and Gas Operator providing asset engineering and maintenance support.
Specific Requirements:
  • Knowledge of All types of Rotating Equipment - Turbines (SGT200/Tornado) preferred, Centrifugal compressors, Dry Gas Seals, Submerged SW lift pumps, API pumps, NFPA fire pumps.
  • Knowledge of UK HSE regulatory requirements with a working understanding of the UK legislation framework - Safety Case, Performance Standards.
  • Have experience in leading work preps to plan and schedule work, be able to QC such work and conduct readiness to execute assurance.
  • Skills in SAP Preferred.
