We have a current opportunity for a Senior Accounts Payable on a fulltime basis. The position will be based in The Hague area. For further information about this position please apply.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accounts Payable Administrator to join the team in the Netherlands on a full-time staff basis. We are looking for a candidate with 4/5years experience with AP and VIM, a go to person for the rest of the administrator.
You will need to have nice leadership qualities to be able to collaborate with the team and delegate out the workload for that week/lead the team meetings.

What will you be doing?

 
  • Ensuring that the processing of all invoices is performed accurately, in a timely and efficient manner
  • Communicating efficiently with internal and external stakeholders to the P2P process
  • Provide support to Accounts Payables team with daily tasks
  • First point of contact for queries within the Accounts Payables team
  • Supporting with the onboarding of new colleagues
  • Analysing Accounts Payables issues and solving problems at the root cause
  • KPI dashboarding
  • Responsible for creating Tax payments and maintaining Tax balance accounts
  • Reviewing monthly Accounts Payable reconciliations and actively clearing old items
  • Liaison with local and group to maintain best practice and remain compliant
  • Contribute to the optimization of Accounts Payables processes
  • Assisting Financial Administration and Financial Accounting as needed
  • Ensures adherence to Business Management System; embed professional tools, policies, systems and processes.
  • Provide support in compiling records for internal and external audits
  • Archiving financial documents of group companies
  • Carry out other department related tasks when required by management

  • Secondary Vocational level (MBO) or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Attentive in signalling deadlines and take appropriate actions.
  • Flexibility / able to work in a time-sensitive situation.
  • Accurate and practical approach.
  • Able to accept responsibility for tasks/responsibilities.
  • Advanced computer skills (Outlook & Excel).
  • SAP or S/4HANA knowledge/experience is beneficial.
  • Experience with vendor invoice management (VIM) is beneficial.
  • Good communication skills in English, speaking and writing.
