Summary
We have an urgent requirement for a Site Manager to join our client on a 9 month project - a power supply from shore to sea project which will involve installation and commissioning of key electrical equipment for the onshore grid connection to the offshore development.

Location - Bergen Norway
Duration - 9 months

 
Accountabilities
  • Site Management - Oversee and manage all site activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Staff Supervision - Lead and manage site personnel, including contractors and sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Project Coordination -  Coordinate with engineering teams, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Technical Oversight - Provide technical guidance and support, particularly in relation to transformer stations and electrical systems.
  • Quality Assurance - Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring that all work meets the required standards and specifications.
  • Reporting - Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting any issues and proposing solutions.
  • Stakeholder Liaison - Act as the main point of contact on site, liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical preferred).
  • Technical Expertise - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with transformer stations within the oil & gas sector.
  • Proficiency in both English and Norwegian.
