Orion Group are working with a well-established and reputable civil engineering contractor with a strong pipeline of projects across the North of Scotland. Our client specialise in delivering infrastructure, earthworks, Cabling and utilities projects to the highest standards.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Civils Site Agent to oversee HDD Landfall & ducting installation works in the North of Scotland.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in site management within a heavy Civils environment and be confident in coordinating teams, ensuring health & safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage site operations from inception to completion.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Compile reports, RAMS, and site documentation.
- Manage site teams and provide clear instructions to achieve targets.
- Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related field (desirable).
- Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, roads, and utilities.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
