Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project execution for in-house automation and capital improvement initiatives.
  • Manage outsourced design/build vendors including RFQs, scope, contracts, and performance.

  • Provide technical leadership and documentation throughout project lifecycles.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Engineering (B.S. minimum; M.S. preferred)
  • 10+ years of project and equipment design experience within a manufacturing setting
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • PLCs, HMIs (Allen Bradley preferred)
    • Machine design and troubleshooting
    • Vision inspection systems (e.g., Cognex)
    • CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD)
  • Experience with robotics, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (including international travel)
Nice to Have:
  • Six Sigma or Lean certifications
  • Stress analysis or CFD experience
  • Strong project cost tracking and risk mitigation skills
Why This Role?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, detail-oriented engineer to shape automation strategy and lead meaningful improvements at a company that values innovation, precision, and long-term sustainability. You'll be joining a collaborative, close-knit team where employees are truly valued, and the culture feels more like family than corporate. Our client fosters a supportive environment where individual contributions make a real impact, and work-life balance is genuinely respected.
