ADD'TL SPECIFICATIONS
• Position is based in Ghana, on an equal time 28 day rotation, primarily offshore, working as the subsea subject matter expert in a multi discipline drilling and completion team, but also with onshore operations support work as required to meet the department/company goals
Starts in May - duration till late December 2025 with possible extension
Description: MAIN FUNCTION
• Responsible for safe and effective offshore installation of subsea equipment from Xmas Tree and Subsea Test Tree suppliers
• Act as an EHS leader and ensure EHS requirements are integral to all aspects of subsea activities, offshore and onshore.
• Ensures that all subsea installation activities comply with applicable standards, regulations, codes, guidelines and procedures.
• Provides subsea input to team and well engineering delivery objectives as necessary.
• Responsible for the offshore operational effectiveness of Xmas tree and Subsea Test Tree suppliers.
• Responsible for the accuracy and efficacy of the subsea input to offshore procedures and operational controls
• Build effective relationships and interact professionally with internal/external stakeholders and service companies.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary work day-to-day responsibility of the position are:
• Ensuring the safety and operational risk agenda of each onshore and offshore work site is delivered and assuring the operation takes place within the Tullow Standards and Practices requirements.
• Direct responsibility for the offshore installation of Xmas Tree and SSTT equipment.
• Direct responsibility for the performance of the Xmas Tree and SSTT equipment suppliers’ offshore personnel.
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
Senior/day shift subsea supervision with an operator in the offshore environment. 10+years
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Junior Engineer/technician level knowledge of xmas tree, subsea test tree and wellhead systems 10+ years
Ability to write offshore procedures and work instructions 10+ Years
Experience with a subsea equipment OEM at engineer or senior technician level. 10+years
COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• Installation/operation of subsea xmas tree systems in the drilling and completions environment.
• Installation/operation of subsea test tree systems.
• Working knowledge of ROV systems and tooling related to the above.
• Understanding of drilling and completion operations, equipment and their interface with the above.
PERSONAL SKILLS REQUIREMENT

• Team lead/supervisory/leadership skills
