The Brief
Our client’s aim was to increase and improve their commissioning and completions capability in the UK to support a multitude of nuclear projects and programmes. The Head of Commissioning and Completions requested support in the form of Talent Mapping and talent acquisition support.
The Solution
We provided the client with a talent map of the UK nuclear industry, covering suitable skill sets to meet their demand, indicative rates and salaries within the talent pool and benchmarking against the client’s and competitor’s rate card/salary bandings.
From a talent acquisition standpoint, we qualified candidates who were interested in proceeding further, along with their salary aspirations and preferred location, and presented a ‘hot list’ to the client.
The Outcome
From the list of 20 candidates sent in, it resulted in the client successfully onboarded 8 commissioning and completions personnel – covering projects at AWE, Sellafield, Barrow, and Dounreay.
