Orion Group celebrates 35 years of trading and launches new recruitment office in New Jersey, USA

Orion Group, a specialist provider of international recruitment services across the Energy and Life Science sectors, is pleased to announce the official opening of its new office in New Jersey, USA.
The company started in 1987 and has enjoyed significant growth in the US, continuing to evolve and diversify from its original foothold in Houston during the 1990’s, a time where Orion Group was predominantly focused on the Oil & Gas industry. More recently, Orion Group opened a Chicago office in 2020 to support the thriving Life Science sector, and the expansion into New Jersey is the latest exciting development for the business.

“We took time to evaluate the market and the move into Jersey City was identified as a key strategic priority for the company as we continue our expansion into Renewable Energy. Orion identified New Jersey as the geographic centre for Clean Energy on the East Coast, and an ideal location to support the ambitious offshore wind projects planned for the New York Bight. We will look to leverage our global expertise within the specialist energy recruitment space and offer a springboard to those with transferrable skills, as the US continues its energy transition and commitment to cutting emissions”.
Jeanne Farias (Business Development Manager) recently relocated from Houston to set-up the office and is actively looking to expand our recruitment function. Orion’s Jersey City office will officially open on 6 September 2022 after the Labor Day holiday, a day to celebrate all American workers.
