Work Schedule: Mon-Fri
Work Hours- 5:30pm-2:00am
$20/hr

Job Description:
The Environmental cleaning specialist Performs all housekeeping tasks and specializes in Performs microbial control cleaning procedures that must comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) job functions such as: Washroom Sanitation, Vacuuming, Corridor Specialist, Trash removal, Light Fixture replacement, Project Specialist, Clean Core Specialist, Bio-Suites sanitationThe work will be accomplished under the general supervision of Lead Personnel and an area Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Based on the housekeeping needs for a specific area, the following tasks may be performed.
  • Performs cross contamination cleaning methods in areas that require microbial control.
  • Completes cGMP documentation of training or cleaning performed on paper and electronic devices.
  • Prepares cleaning solutions based on cGMP regulated mixing instructions.
  • Performs microbial control cleaning techniques on walls, ceiling and floors.
  • Completes preventive maintenance work orders to meet cleaning requirements.
  • Clean washrooms. Washroom fixture (mirrors, sinks, urinals, toilets, etc.) and refill dispensers and replace (paper supplies, soap, etc.)
  • Follows specific gowning procedures and performs cGMP entrance and exit procedures for controlled environments.
  • Operates bailing and compacting equipment.
  • Operates various types of hand held battery and electric cleaning equipment.
  • Operates battery and electric walk behind or ride-on floor cleaning equipment. such as scrubbers, burnishes and sweepers
  • Picks up and bails corrugate and stages in designated areas.
  • Pick up and dispose of autoclave waste.
  • Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo and extract carpeted floors and dust mop,
  • Sweep, damp mop, scrub, burnish, strip and refinish resilient and Concrete floors.
  • Spot clean, damp wipe and wash walls, partitions, ceilings, doors and glass.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in sanitation and or housekeeping.
  • Previous experience working in a GMP facility preferred.
  • experience operating battery and electric walk behind or ride-on floor cleaning equipment
  • flexibility to work a weekend day as business needs require.
