Job description
Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Professional Assistant for our Pharmaceutical client based in Runcorn. Initial 6-month, with high possibility of extension and temp to permanent for the right candidate. This is a 100% onsite role.
Purpose of the role
- To provide an effective & confidential administrative support service to the Site General
Manager and Senior Leadership Team. - To coordinate the site administration function, in order to ensure it fully meets the needs
of the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Full administrative support for the activities of the Site General Manager and Senior
Leadership team. - Preparation, compilation and distribution of presentations and other documentation
required as part of the Site General Manager's meeting commitments. - Preparation, compilation and distribution of presentations and other documentation
required for site projects (Wellbeing/Safety etc). - Preparation & booking of meeting and breakout rooms for departmental meetings.
- Assisting with the delivery of site related projects and initiatives.
- Follow-up on outstanding actions arising from group and site level meetings.
- Preparation and distribution of site communications, including the website and other site communications media of our client.
- Arranging travel, accommodation and transport arrangements for the Site General.
Required skills and knowledge
- Educated to Degree level in a Business related discipline.
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- High level of planning and organising skills, including the ability to work under
- pressure and to deadlines.
- Strong influencing, coaching and problem solving skills; and the ability to use these to
- provide support for key stakeholders on critical tasks.
- Experience of preparing and co-ordinating communications using multiple media
- formats (such as PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, intranet articles etc).
- Computer Literate: Competent with standard MS Office software (word, excel,
- PowerPoint, publisher) and SAP.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work on own initiative with minimum
- Understanding and respect of confidentiality.
