Job description

Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for an Associate Clinical Supply Chain for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with high possibility of extension. Hybrid position, 3-4 days onsite for 3 months training and afterwards going to 2 days.

What will you do

As Global Supply Planner in the support office you help the global planning team to reach the 99,9% target for patient dosing. During the length of the clinical trial, the study planner is responsible to monitor inventory at central locations and hospitals and minimize product waste. Support Office planner takes take of execution of several complex activities after decisions taken by the study planner on inventory levels. Support Office work in a team of 2 to ensure full back up. Support office is the back bone of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Convert the purchase order to the 3 global labelling locations in line with the procedures. Follow up a timely release by our quality department and shipment to the dedicated warehouses across the world.

  • Handle the initiation for destruction.

  • Run global reports that trigger the Global Study Planners for their activities.

  • Run and report metrics to management for your dedicated areas and processes.

  • Provide labelling to hospitals that need extra activities to comply with regulations for our pharmaceutical.

  • investigational product.

  • Reverse the set-up of materials and keep the system clean.

  • Work under general direction of management. Work is guided by objectives of the department and extra assignments.

  • Decide priorities over daily, weekly and monthly activities.

  • The position does not have budget responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Supply chain or Business Administration and 1 year of experience in supply chain.

  • Associate degree (MBO) and minimum 4 year's relevant working experience in a similar position in supply chain management.

  • Fluency in English, both in verbal and written communication.

  • Fluency in Dutch is preferred.

  • Experience in MS Office applications.

  • Experience in Digitization.

  • Experience in using ERP systems, preferably SAP.

  • Able to work with Standard Operation Procedures in a highly regulated environment in a complex supply chain.

  • Able to be apply training into practice quickly.

  • Work Right First Time - 100% accurate output, even under stress and periods of high workload.

  • Highly analytical, able to connect the dots between studies and multiple processes.

  • Communicate clearly with management, planners, Quality and Labelling department.

  • Able to prioritize of work and explain to stakeholders.

  • Able to work in cross functional, local and international teams.

  • Be critical to supplier and customer needs.

  • Balance between always ensuring supplies and the costs and effort it takes to make that happen.

  • Open for changes in processes, robotization and digitalization. Able to lead small changes from idea until implementation.
