Job description
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Compliance Lead to oversee the cost and performance analysis of current contractual agreements. This is an ongoing PAYE contract based in Aberdeen, commencing asap.
Candidates should also be experienced in SAP and also familiar with CMS and TFE.
Responsibilities:
* Supervision of the Contract compliance team and fair distribution of work ensuring all key tasks are carried out effectively and on time.
* Responsible for the production of month end reports, highlighting key trends and current status (non-compliant issues).
* Perform process of daily invoice checks, verification of rates, personnel, equipment etc., with the aim of optimizing the reimbursable opportunities for company.
* Ensure that company procedures are adhered to with regards to contract administration i.e. contract amendments, variation orders and release orders.
* Participate in external contractor audits and follow-up of any actions raised.
* Meet with internal staff and external contractors to resolve outstanding non-compliant issues and invoice disputes.
* Analysis of invoice patterns to detect common problems which can be avoided by developing business processes and procedures.
* Recommend process improvements with specific regard to invoice processing and the contract preparation, tender & award process.
* Responsible for liaising with Contract Representative and Contract Engineers to highlight where Contract Amendments are required.
Experience & Qualifications:
* HND or equivalent in finance related discipline required.
* Experience in cost control administration, preferable in the oil industry.
* Knowledge and basic understanding of Contractual and commercial documentation.
* In-depth knowledge of SAP and other databases/computer packages required for this function.
* In-depth knowledge of Company Management Procedures (CMS): Delegation of Authority, TFE Group Specific Assistance, Manpower Control, Mobilisation and Recruitment, AFE, Contract Administration.
