We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Coordinator to join our clients dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction projects ensuring that all activities run smoothly, on time, and within budget. The Construction Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves liaising with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in construction within the Oil & Gas or Energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate all aspects of construction projects, from planning through execution and completion.
- Schedule activities and manage the daily operations on-site.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and all other project stakeholders to maintain clear communication and ensure the project is progressing as planned.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements to guarantee quality and safety.
- Proactively monitor project progress and resolve potential issues before they become roadblocks.
- Maintain control over project budgets and expenses, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management, keeping them informed of key developments and any challenges.
- Performance Requirements:
- Cultivate a collaborative, professional, and harmonious working environment with all team members, supervisors, contractors, and clients.
- Maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations, with the ability to handle feedback and direction effectively.
- Consistently meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and ensure all responsibilities are fulfilled in a timely and reliable manner.
- Work effectively within a teamwork-based environment, promoting a positive and cohesive team culture.
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of successful experience in construction coordination or project management, with a preference for experience in Oil & Gas or Energy-based projects.
- Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook), SAP, Primavera P6, and Adobe.
- A solid understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines and handle competing demands.
- Required Abilities & Conduct:
- Willingness to undergo Drug & Alcohol (D&A) testing as required.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Must reside locally in the Edmonton/Fort Saskatchewan/Sherwood Park area for daily on-site project work.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
