Job description

Great opportunity to work as a Control, Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer for a reputable Company involved in the exploration, production, and transportation of crude oil and natural gas.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that instrumentation and control systems are designed, inspected and installed in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Responsible for providing the control, electrical and instrumentation engineering support to the project team to ensure that the project will deliver the required benefits and is fit for purpose,
  • Review, supervise and approve EPIC contractor control and instrumentation engineering content as required.
  • Ensure that any 3rd party control, electrical and instrumentation engineering contractors/suppliers adhere to the project technical specification required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor or high diploma in instrumentation and control engineering or electrical engineering.
  • 10+ years' industry experience, experience in offshore, brown fields upgrading is preferred.
  • Knowledge of codes and standards, related to instrumentation and control systems, such as ISA, IEC, and NEC.
  • Applicant should have Experience minimum but not limited to:
  1. Designing of control systems, Sizing and selecting instruments, cables, etc.
  2. Preparing process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), systems/material specification/POs, TDS and IDS for instrumentation electrical and communication equipment.
  3. Evaluating safety system design and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure reliable integration with process control system.
  4. Supervising inspection, installation and testing system performance.
  5. Experience in electrical and telecom is preferred.
  • Fluency in Italian OR English
