Project: B58 Suriname Project (FPSO, SURF, SPS, Drilling)

We are seeking a skilled Cost Control Specialist to actively participate in the cost control activities of one of the major packages (FPSO, SURF, SPS, Drilling) of the B58 Suriname Project. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Control Manager/Lead, advising and supporting the project on all matters related to cost control structure, procedures, reporting, and best practices, utilizing tools like SAP, U-COST, or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze, process, and present all information and documentation related to project costs and expenditures.
  • Collaborate with the Project Control Manager/Lead to ensure effective cost control procedures.
  • Monitor costs within a multi-year, multi-currency project environment, including costs estimation, actuals, accruals, provisions, and forecasts.
  • Compare initial budget, previous status, and current forecasts, justifying any gaps with support from the technical teams.
  • Highlight, escalate, and propose mitigation actions for any budgeting and cost-related issues.
  • Demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding HSSE standards and company ethics, handling confidential documents with discretion.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Cost Control Management within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working on projects.
  • Proficiency in English and French.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes in a large, multi-disciplinary project environment.
