Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Fabric Maintenance Co-ordinator, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Manage the FM contractor to ensure effective implementation of all FM work-scopes (all coatings, insulation, scaffolding, flange protection etc.).
* Work with Integrity and Inspection positions to ensure appropriate FM programmes are implemented.
* Co-ordinate offshore FM contractor activities.
* Work with Integrity and Inspection positions to develop inspection strategies and programmes to address threats to the assets 'fabric' integrity, handrails and gratings; uni-strut; brackets in line with industry best practice - HSE hydrocarbon leak reduction toolkit, company AI Recommended Practice (RP) documents (self-assessment checklists)'; Energy Institute Corrosion Management RP.
* Responsible for the development and implementation of 'tertiary' equipment maintenance/replacement programmes.
* Work with the Integrity Engineer to develop an integrated insulation removal and inspection programme (in support of the CUI/WSE strategy).
* Responsible for contributing to the monthly and annual FM reports including KPI's on plan attainment, fabric maintenance backlog (by category), productivity.
* Ensure procedures, specifications and documents are kept current and reviewed at specified intervals, coating specification; insulation specification; surface preparation procedure.
* Ensure timely closure of all assigned actions in MyHSE, ICP, audit, Strategic Improvement Plan actions.
* Ensure all contractors are fully aware of the impairment criteria for all Safety Critical Elements and understand the safety element role of the equipment being worked on.
* Ensure all 'new' projects comply with the relevant company specifications and standards with respect to meeting fabric maintenance standards.


Requirements:
* Experience of working in an oil and gas operations environment
* Late life asset experience preferable
* Previous experience in asset fabric maintenance preferred
* Educated to senior high school level or equivalent
* Someone with extensive experience who can hit the ground running in the role
* Highly motivated, proactive problem-solving individual with delivery skills.
* Commercial and contractual awareness.
* Ability to identify cost effective access solutions.
* Planning and organising projects.
* Knowledge of composite wrap repairs
