Job description
We have a current opportunity for a Flowline T&I Engineering Coordinator on a residential basis in Jakarta, Indonesia. The position will be a 24 month rolling contract.
You will be overseeing and coordinating all engineering activities related to the supply of flowline systems and the transportation and installation of subsea equipment. You will also be managing the planning and execution of transporting subsea equipment to the offshore site, and will serve as the primary liaison between the engineering teams, suppliers and project management.
Responsibilities:
* The implementation and coordination of project work development on offshore facilities structure installation (Flowline T&I), performing interface processes between several technical functions.
* Ensuring all activities are compliant with the project target, company regulations, safety and environmental procedures and its technical applicability.
* Overseeing the coordination of all engineering activities related to the flexible/rigid flowlines supply package and the transportation and installation package, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
* Conducting thorough reviews and validations of flowline design specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
* Developing detailed installation plans and procedures, including risk assessments, to ensure safe and efficient execution of transportation and installation activities.
* Collaborating with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate sourcing of materials and components required for the flowline package.
* Acting as the primary point of contact for technical queries and ensuring adherence to quality and delivery schedules.
* Serving as the primary point of contact for the T&I package, managing technical communication, technical queries, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
* Liaising with and ensuring involvement of the quality assurance and quality control team in engineering processes, to guarantee that all flowline components and transportation and installation meet specified standards and are free from defects.
* Identifying potential risks associated with the flowline supply package and transportation and installation activities and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively, including the related HAZID, HAZOP and SIMOPS activities.
* Ensuring involvement of the relevant departments/project team members in the assessment of documentation issued by supplier related to the flowline package, including design documents, specifications, test reports and quality records, as well as documentation related to the T&I package, including installation manuals, procedural documents, and quality records, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
* Providing technical support and guidance to the project team and supplier, addressing any issues or challenges related to the flowline supply package and T&I package.
* Ensuring that all engineering and T&I activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements and company policies.
* Coordinating engineering interfaces with other project packages, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of technical requirements across all project components.
* Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to project management, highlighting key milestones, challenges and actions taken to resolve issues.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering/technical degree (i.e. mining, mechanical, electronic, civil, chemical).
* Extensive working experience in the oil & gas industry managing the supply and installation activities for subsea equipment in deepwater projects.
* Technical knowledge of flexible/rigid flowlines supply management.
* Technical knowledge of offshore transportation and installation management.
* Training and certifications: HSE Management in upstream operations, Petroleum Engineering, Combined Survival & Rescue (T-BOSIET certification).
* Intermediate knowledge of English language. Intermediate knowledge of the local language advantageous.
* Solid planning target control, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Flexibility.
