Job Title: Harbour Site Supervisor - Junior
Duration: November 1, 2024 - December 31, 2025
Location: North Kingstown, RI (Onshore)
Rotation: 7 days on/off (may change to 14 days on/off with mutual agreement)
Working Hours: 12 hours per day (5 AM - 5 PM)

Job Summary:

The Harbour Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing onshore activities at the Site, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to operational guidelines. This position requires a hands-on approach in managing site logistics, equipment, and communication with port authorities and contractors. The ideal candidate must be local to the Quonset area, as no travel expenses will be covered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise harbour site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is up to date and in working condition.
  • Operate or supervise crane and forklift operations as needed.
  • Monitor site stock, manage inventory, and ensure the availability of consumables.
  • Maintain site facilities, conduct regular safety checks, and monitor utilities (electricity, water, etc.).
  • Assist the HSE department in addressing site-specific safety issues.
  • Support offshore site teams and assist with lifting operations.
  • Manage fuel for Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV) and other site vehicles.
  • Coordinate waste management with port contractors and ensure adherence to environmental protocols.
  • Oversee the delivery management for the site office.
  • Liaise with local port authorities, customs, security personnel, and other local contractors as required.
  • Input and maintain data related to PPE certifications and equipment maintenance.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual safety inspections of buildings and facilities.
  • General housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory:
    • Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
    • Valid and non-suspended driver's license.
    • Ability to work independently, displaying strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Preferable:
    • Experience operating or using forklifts.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary.
    • Knowledge of local regulations and work environment.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Slinger/Banksman certification (preferred).
