Job description

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Analyst, on a 12 month contract, based in Calgary, AB, (Hybrid - Office/Home/Ad-hoc travel) supporting one of our major client’s businesses. We are looking for an HR Analyst (5-10yrs experience preferrred) that is passionate about data, work processes and has a high attention to detail. We need your skills to help streamline our client’s processes, in order to support them to make data-driven decisions, and assist them transition into a new HRIS system.
 
As their organization continues to grow, our client requires a team member skilled in process improvement and standardization, data accuracy and a working knowledge of HR systems.

You will use your expertise to:
  • Maintain the accuracy of the mobilization tracker through data uploads and month-end reconciliation.
  • Support process documentation on a variety of HR processes, both for internal HR use and to support the business.
  • Provide HR documentation such as direct hires with employment verification letters when required.
  • Demonstrate high standards (accuracy, timeliness, compliance).
  • Facilitate workforce planning data integrity, including data uploads to our HRIS system.
  • Understand and adhere to established levels of data protection, equal opportunities, direct competitor, anti-trust, ant-bribery guidelines.
  • Ensure data integrity by conducting audits, reviewing reports, and analyzing data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Clean data to eliminate any errors and create more meaningful analyses.
  • Analyze data using a variety of tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Discuss findings with HR Business partners and broader HR team members.
  • Support the broader HR team as required; this role may evolve over time based on strategic HR priorities and need.
To be successful in this position, you'll need to:
  • Have robust knowledge of HR systems and how they integrate with HR policies and work processes.
  • Have strong knowledge of MS Office and dashboarding with Power BI Demonstrated experience managing large amount of data to help develop meaningful conclusions.
  • Experience recognizing what data is important and able to trim insignificant data to support robust information.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience working with qualitative and quantitative data points and organize in manageable segments.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Have a University degree or certificate, preferably in Human Resources or business administration.
  • Be outstanding with teamwork skills, working in regular, close partnership with HR and business colleagues.
  • Have demonstrated experience supporting HR work processes and workflows through Management of Change.
This role requires you to:
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
  • Work in a hybrid working model2 days a week in our client's Calgary office and the remainder at your home.
  • Hold a valid drivers licence
  • Know this is a full-time role, 40 hours per week.
  • Are willing to comply with client’s drug-free and harassment-free work.
