Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Installation Coordinator on a contract basis. The position will be based in Doha. For further information about this position please apply.
Purpose
Project Management Team (PMT) member responsible for coordination of various fixed facilities Transportation and Installation (T&I) related activities.
 
Accountabilities
Coordinate activities between Company, MWS and EPC Contractor related to vessels and equipment preparation, inspection, testing approval and mobilization for loadout, seafastening, transportation and installation.
Support Vessel Management Team (VMT) related to vessel suitability surveys, marine unit approvals, SIMOPS and PTW.
Ensure operations are executed safely and in compliance with contract agreement, industry standards and best practices.
Support engineering on procedure development, constructability reviews and risk assessment.
 
Qualification
  • Marine, Naval, Mechanical or similar engineering degree
  • Good communication and interpersonal relationships, coordination and interfacing skills
 
Knowledge/Experience
Medical fitness certificate and safety training for working offshore
Minimum 8 years of experience in offshore construction as methods and field engineer or similar role, on transportation and installation of fixed platforms including heavy lifting operations (alternatively, pipelines, subsea and floating facilities).
