Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Maintenance Methods Leader, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the department and ensure the provision of specialist maintenance engineering support to the assets by implementing optimised maintenance solutions.
* Takes a leader role in technical decision-making process.
* Support the Asset Support Manager in all aspects of GMOC Contract management, with a focus on continuous improvement of contractor performance.
* Manage the department budget.
* Ensure the assurance of Performance Standard of Safety and Environmental Critical Elements (SECE) to Legislative and Company requirements.
* Develop and maintain productive and constructive relationships with asset maintenance personnel and external contractors/vendors

Requirements
* Qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline i.e. engineering/inspection. Further qualifications such as chartered engineer desirable.
* Leadership experience and able to organize and motivate a team of staff and contractors.
* Experience in Maintenance/Operations in the oil & gas industry, including offshore/site and leadership experience.
* Detailed knowledge of legislation/regulations relevant to discipline.
* Significant knowledge and understanding of offshore/terminal plant and associated process, equipment, and technologies.
* Recognised expertise in Maintenance/Operations.
