Job description

Our client has a current opportunity for an Office Manager to join their small team. This is a full-time permanent role, based in Inverness.

As Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office operations and providing administrative support to the team. This role requires a highly organised and proactive individual who can handle a variety of tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties:

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events.

  • Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.

  • Maintain office records, including contracts, invoices, and client files.

  • Assist with HR tasks such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing principles.

  • Implement and oversee office policies and procedures.

  • Provide administrative support to the team including data entry, auction preparation, and customer service.

  • Assist in the organisation and promotion of auction events.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong IT skills - proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
