Job Description: WTG Installation Coordinator
Location: New London, CT
Position Type: Hourly Contractor
Duration: 2 years

Role Summary:
Join our core WTG installation team for REV01 and SRW01 projects, focusing on managing load-out operations at the New London site. This role involves overseeing feeder vessel operations, coordinating contractors, and ensuring adherence to HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan feeder vessel load-outs and provide operational lookaheads.
  • Ensure a strong focus on HSE through safety assessments and walks in collaboration with HSE Advisors.
  • Coordinate main contractors (e.g., SGRE, Crowley, Gateway) and supervise load-out operations.
  • Issue Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) for feeder vessels in port and perform final walkdowns post-load-out.
  • Liaise with the offshore construction team to schedule feeder vessel movements.
  • Monitor WTG component delivery, pre-assembly, and readiness for load-out.
  • Oversee Ørsted equipment on barges and manage spare parts inventory.
  • Facilitate MWS and CVA site attendance as required.
Additional Responsibilities (based on experience):
  • Provide engineering support for load-out, transport, and installation.
  • Assess weather forecasts and review operability.
  • Process and analyze DPRs for onshore and offshore activities.
Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and organization.
  • GWO offshore access certification; medically fit for offshore work.
  • Working knowledge of lifting and marine operations standards.
  • Understanding of QHSE management principles.
  • Experience or qualifications in construction, engineering, or marine operations.
  • Prior experience in wind turbine installation or marine construction.
  • Familiarity with BIMCO & FIDIC contracts (preferred but not essential).
