Production Operator
Contract – 10 months
Location – Leven
£14.43 per hour all shifts & Overtime rates
3 shift pattern weekly rotation (Day/Back/Night)
 
Our client a successful and international manufacturing business is seeking to source
Production Operators to join their fast-paced manufacturing facility in Leven for a 10
month Fixed Term contract.
 
The role will require successful candidates to carry out various production
process procedures and machine operating in order to produce aluminium effect
pigments that is used in a wide variety of products.
 
 
 
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Operate machinery and plant processes as assigned by Line Manager.
  • Conduct and record daily checks in designated work area.
  • Carry out a set range of process procedures to produce aluminium effect pigments.
  • Communicate clearly with your work colleagues regarding issues that may affect safety, quality, or productivity etc.
  • Maintain a safe and organised workplace environment through adherence to 5S.
  • Engage in shift handovers and have team focus.
  • Ensure that all PPE and RPE equipment issued is maintained to a high standard.
  • Ability to work shifts comprising of dayshift, backshift, and nightshift on a 24/5 or 24/7 shift pattern.
  • Assist other departments, as and when required.
  • The role will entail physical manual handling activities.
 
Hours of work:
Dayshift - 06:00 - 14:15
Backshift - 14:00 - 22:15
Nightshift - 22:00 - 06:15
 
 
Pay rate of £14.43 per hour (all basic hours/shift pattern)
Overtime 1 – £18.70 per hour
Overtime 2 – £21.81 per hour
Overtime 3 – £24.93 per hour
