Job Title: Production Technician

Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and mechanically skilled Production Technician with a growth-oriented mindset to join our team. This is a dynamic, hands-on, field-based role focused on supporting and optimizing field operations. You will collaborate with various teams, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause failure analysis, quality assurance, and supporting safe operations across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment, diagnose issues, and perform root cause failure analysis.
  • Engage in pre- and post-job reviews and oversee contractor work as needed.
  • Collect data, validate conditions, and investigate issues impacting production and field operations.
  • Collaborate across teams to drive operational improvements and reduce variability in the production process.
  • Support safety practices and help maintain an efficient, manufacturing-focused mindset within the team.
  • Physically demanding tasks including standing, walking, bending, stooping, operating equipment, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50lbs.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with remote teams via phone, video, or virtual assist technology.
  • Strong analytical skills to leverage data and resolve field issues.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas systems from reservoir to sales line.
  • Willingness to grow capability and capacity, with experience in basic failure analysis.
  • Aptitude for new technology and data-driven decision-making.

Preferred Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience in oil and gas or industrial settings, with troubleshooting abilities.
  • Familiarity with industry components like level controllers, pumps, and flare systems.
  • Knowledge of artificial lift systems, including gas lift compression, ESPs, and rod pumps.
  • Comfortable with high-pressure systems up to 3,000psig.
  • Growth mindset with proven adaptability, excellent communication skills, and an inquisitive, solutions-focused approach.
