Job Title: Project Administrator
Location: Houston, TX
Job Type: Contract - 4/10s schedule fully in-office role.


The Project Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to project teams and ensuring the smooth running of projects within the client and customer. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities while ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and support to multiple Managers / Project Managers.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of exp

  • Experience working in the Oil & Gas Industry / EPC companies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

  • Advanced word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics software skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience communicating with individuals from various cultural and engineering backgrounds

  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices

  • Previous experience in coordinating travel (Domestic / International)

  • Experience working with international customers preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field preferred



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to project managers and teams

  • Coordination and collaboration with project team and other administrative team members

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and plans

  • Take notes, issue project letters, coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, book food plans for breakfast / lunch meetings

  • Calendar Management

  • Assist in the preparation and review of project reports, PowerPoint presentations, and documents

  • Track project progress, prepare status reports, and highlight any issues or risks to project managers

  • Assist in the procurement of project materials and services

  • Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding project updates and issues

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Provide some travel assistance
