We have a current opportunity for a Project Manager on a permanent basis. The position will be based in south Glasgow.

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Glasgow - Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days from home)

About the Role: Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This permanent role is based in Glasgow with a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility for both in-office and remote work. The successful candidate will demonstrate commercial acumen and possess relevant industry experience. Flexibility to travel is essential, as travel requirements will vary depending on the stage and scope of each project.

Project Highlights:

  • Average projects are 12-18 months in duration, offering stimulating and varied work.

  • Offshore projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.

  • Monitor project performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Manage project changes and ensure all changes are documented and communicated effectively.

  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in a relevant industry. (but cleint will consider ambitious Project Engineers)

  • A degree in any engineering discipline

  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Flexibility to travel as required by project demands.
