RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Planner-Scheduler II will provide project planning and scheduling support to projects within Subsea NAM group, including vessels. This candidate must be detail oriented, but able to understand projects from a top level perspective while strictly adhering to the foundational beliefs and core values.

• Define Project objectives in terms of duration and resources
• Pilots the Project status and to ensure the forecast reliability
• Develops a Schedule compliant with the selected execution strategy
• Plans in order to mitigate risks and reduce costs
• Defines and optimizes the necessary resources (E-P-C-I)
• Defines the Planning & Scheduling system (methods, procedures, time-schedules, physical progress, dashboards, etc.)
• Defines for the Management, the Proposal Manager and the Estimation Department a Contract duration realistic and feasible for execution
• Defines the Project Breakdown Structures
• Supports Client approval process of the Schedule Baseline, progress claimed or milestones achievement
• Increases Project team members’ awareness of the Project Milestones, main durations and critical paths
• Monitors and controls the project status, to detect any delay and to propose corrective actions
• Estimates the delay linked with changes and claims and to prepare the Extension of Time analysis, in case of delay due to Client
• Provides Project Feedback and Lessons Learned in order to improve the Planning & Scheduling methods and provide input to the statistics of Planning Department
• May supervise or train less experienced colleagues, mainly on small and middle size projects
• Facilitates communications between cross-company and cross-functional teams to ensure scheduling conflicts are identified early and solutions accurately incorporated into schedules and processes.
• Ensures cooperation and interaction across diverse stakeholders, both internal and external to the organization.
• Utilizes excellent presentation skills to present to a diverse group of interests, including project managers, analysts, and other key stakeholders.
• Conducts and/or participates in schedule audits and schedule reviews to ensure schedule accuracy and validity requirements are met.
• Supports the development, review and Contract requirements for Baseline Schedule.
• Checks the adequacy between the defined Project Breakdown Structures and the needs of the Planning & Scheduling System.
• Collaborates with the project team by identifying major milestones, critical approvals and long lead procurement items.
• Determines reasonable schedule logic and constraints based on discussion with task owners and/or teams.
• Evaluates critical and near critical path activity sequences.
• Assesses or validate actual progress.
• Monitors schedule changes and trends
• Suggests corrective actions and/or develops recovery plans when delays are anticipated or occur.
• Reviews all contractual documentation in regards to project planning and project controls.
• Prepares the monthly progress reports for the client and the internal reporting for the Project Manager
• Provides project feedback and lessons learned in order to improve the Planning & Scheduling methods and provide input to the statistics of the Planning and Scheduling Department

Requirements:
3-5 years of experience with Primavera (P6) and/or Microsoft Project doing project planning, strong communication and organization skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Professional individual capable of interfacing with clients. Strong computer skills using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,
Preferred but not required: Subsea product knowledge, Project contractual review experience, Capacity to work on schedules in live meetings with stake holders
