Job description

Great opportunity to work as a QA / QC Engineer for a reputable Company involved in the exploration, production, and transportation of crude oil and natural gas.

Responsibilities:

  • General QA/QC activities on structures, piping, heat exchangers and pressure vessels fabrication.
  • Follow-up of Anomaly Reports and Non-Conformities closure.
  • Support in Quality Control Plan (Inspection and Test Plans) review & follow up.
  • Support in Welding Book review & follow up.
  • Monitor all quality related activities on the project.
  • Attend client quality management meetings.
  • Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports.
  • Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site QA/QC manager.
  • Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site Construction manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in mechanical or metallurgy.
  • Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Certifications: ASNT Level II or equivalent for: (VT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) are essential for conducting inspections and ensuring the integrity of structures and equipment.
  • Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI) or CSWIP 3.2
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP):
  • Iso 9001 lead auditor.
  • API 510 Certification.
  • 10+ years' industry experience, and preferred experience in steel structures, piping and pressure vessels fabrication
  • Fluent in Italian OR English
