Job description

Exciting opportunity for an experienced EC&I Engineer to join a global energy leader specialising in renewable energy, smart technology, and energy efficiency solutions, driving the transition to low-carbon energy.

The Role:
* Providing root cause analysis (RCA) support to disseminate engineering outcomes required to improve asset performance.
* Working with Systems and CEI reliability engineers to design engineering packages.
* Providing FAT support to prove designs, including visits to site for SAT.
* Assess proposed products, considering their compliance, performance and integration in consideration for them to be incorporated into new schemes.
* Responsible for ensuring that all stages of the product and integration assessment process are completed

Required Experience:
* Strong understanding of the design requirements and related challenges in a manufacturing setting associated with mechanical, electrical and software challenges.
* Proactive and collaborative self-starter with a high level of problem-solving skills.
* Awareness of British and International Standards
* Strong technical skills in energy efficient systems with direct experience of delivering energy saving projects.
* Understand of the commercial aims and objectives of distributed energy systems.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
