We have a current opportunity for a Senior Reservoir Engineer, RMO on a contract basis. The position will be based in Doha. For further information about this position please apply.

Experience Required

8+ years of experience within a subsurface organization
Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree, and preferably Master's degree (in a RE / PE subject)
Knowledge or experience with agile development and familiarity with product management and collaboration tools is a plus.
Proficiency in Pressure Transient Analysis
Affinity towards implementation of Digital and AI Solutions is highly desired
Experience in leading multi-disciplinary team/project is a strong plus
In-depth understanding of Reservoir Management and surveillance processes
Reservoir and geoscience working experience in an operated asset

Good do have pas experience working with TotalEnergies / Total projects

Responsibilities

Effective reservoir management best practices, reservoir surveillance plans, opportunities identification and maturation. Possible hybrid
responsibility to manage Digital Use Case depending on candidate's skillset and organizational situation.
Extract the value out of pressure data, both downhole & surface, including the utilization of Digital & AI solutions and translate them into actionable Reservoir Management activities.
Reservoir management activities to maximise production and minimise base production decline.
Planning, coordination, and close follow-up of Reservoir Surveillance activities across all teams.
Identification and maturation of production improvement opportunities (in collaboration with Field Operations, Drilling & Wells, New Well Delivery, Integrated Performance & Planning).
Timely consolidation of monthly profiles for short term production forecast (Rolling Forecast).
Propose innovative solutions to improve the voidage replacement and increase wells potential.
Perform simulation and models history match when required for reservoir management purposes.
Support Profiles and Reserves team by providing data for Integrated Asset Modelling.
Perform detailed wells performance analysis and post-mortem synthesis.
Consolidate and prioritize reservoir surveillance plans, and ensure close follow-up.
Ensure opportunities identification, ranking and maturation (Workovers, Stimulation, ..etc) until FID for Deep Redrills, workovers and other opportunities.
