Job description
Great opportunity to work as a Senior Structural Engineer (client side) based in Milan, on a major development project.
All candidates must have the right to work in the EU unsponsored, no uplifts or living expenses will be provided. All candidates must be willing to work out with "employed status" and should be self employed / freelance.
The Role:
- Review / Lead the design and analysis of structural systems, and specifications.
- Utilize engineering software for structural modeling and simulations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure that all engineering work meets quality standards and adheres to project requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, proposing innovative solutions
- Ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to integrate structural designs with other engineering disciplines.
Requirements:
- BSc or higher in the oil & gas sector (not less than 10 years' experience.
- Petroleum Tech. Institute with experience in oil & Gas Engineering projects (non-graduate engineer/ 20 years' experience in oil & gas production).
- 10 Years for Graduate engineers.
- 20 years Non graduate engineers including experience at oil & gas engineering & design sectors.
- Proficiency Level in English Lang.
- Computer skills: Engineering Design Software/ Structural Analysis Software (AUTCAD, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structures…etc).
- Organization skills: Time Management, Task management, Planning, Attention to Detail, Problem-Solving, Communication, Problem-Solving.
- PMP or similar, Certified American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) , Safety Certifications, Structural Engineering (SE) License.
