Job description

We are seeking a Strategic Planning Analyst for our Operator client based in Central Aberdeen. The role sits with the strategic commercial planning team and will involve financial analysis and reporting of future strategic operation plans and presenting these to senior management.

The ideal candidate will be an advanced Excel and Powerpoint user and be familiar with preparing and presenting financial reports whilst liaising closely with the Commercial teams.

Ongoing PAYE contract based hybrid (3/2) in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Support the forecast process, culmination in Monthly Business Review Packs and Liquidity Packs
* Support the budget and plan cycle
* Prepare detailed analysis communicating movements and results
* Performance Management - Assist with setting and tracking Asset and Group KPIs
* Coordinate all economic assumptions and maintain history
* Coordinate presentations - VIP visits, monthly forecast packs, senior presentations

Experience & Qualifications:
* Minimum Bachelor level
* Advanced Excel and PPT skills essential
* Ability to cope with peaks and troughs of workload and possess excellent prioritization skills
* Experience of solving complex unstructured problems using detailed modelling skills essential
* Have a good understanding of the E&P Value Chain and profitability of an E&P Co.
