Job description
We have a current opportunity for a Transportation & Installation Lead on a contract basis. The position will be based in Doha. For further information about this position please apply.
Working Schedule
Work hours per day: 10 hrs./day
Work Days per Week: 6 days/week
Work day per Month: 26 days/month
Work Location: Qatar, Onshore
Required Qualifications
Marine, Naval, Mechanical or similar engineering degree
Medical fitness certificate and safety training for working offshore
Minimum 15 years of experience in offshore construction as methods and operations engineer or similar role, on installation of large fixed platforms including wet tow, dry transportation, mooring, floatover and heavy lifting (alternatively floating and semi-sub facilities i.e. FPSO, TLP, SPAR).
Key Accountabilities
Execution of various fixed facilities Transportation and Installation (T&I) operations.
Contractor activities related to vessels and equipment preparation, inspection, testing approval and mobilization for loadout, seafastening, transportation, mooring and installation.
Ensure marine operations are executed safely and in compliance with contract agreement, industry standards and best practices.
Liaise with Vessel Management Team (VMT) on the status, ongoing and planned activities, highlighting issues and recommending mitigations.
