Offshore Company Site Representatives (2 Positions)

Position 1: Offshore Company Site Representative Onboard Rigid Pipelay Vessel
Position 2: Offshore Company Site Representative Onboard Light Construction Vessel

Common Responsibilities for Both Positions:

Ensure compliance with COMPANY HSE standards and participate in hazard assessments for vessel activities.
Act as the COMPANY's focal point during emergencies, ensuring proper implementation of Emergency Response Plan procedures.
Supervise offshore activities to ensure alignment with agreed procedures, installation analyses, and project specifications.
Communicate with onshore support and other vessel representatives for planning operations and resolving SIMOPS issues.
Oversee the interface between Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS) and SURF Contractors onboard.
Maintain confidentiality for all produced documentation.
Prepare and review necessary certificates, checklists, and traceability tables.
Participate in daily coordination meetings and provide timely reporting to the SURF Operation Manager.

Position-Specific Responsibilities
Position 1: Offshore Company Site Representative Onboard Rigid Pipelay Vessel

Oversee operations related to:
Spooling activities.
Supply and barge activities alongside or near the vessel.
Deck operations and pipelay activities.
Lifting, overboarding, lowering, and landing of subsea structures.
Subsea ROV works.
Ensure readiness for installation through timely certificate sign-offs.
Manage coordination with FPSO RSES for all SIMOPS activities.
Lead supervision of the SURF Contractor’s rigid pipelay operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Position 2: Offshore Company Site Representative Onboard Light Construction Vessel

Oversee operations related to:
Umbilical laying activities.
Supply and barge activities alongside or near the vessel.
Deck operations and lifting of subsea spools.
Subsea pre-commissioning works.
Subsea ROV works.
Support pre-mobilization and transit planning for light construction activities.
Lead the supervision of light construction activities, ensuring adherence to company and international standards.
Act as the primary liaison for the coordination of equipment transfers and SPS tool management onboard



Qualifications & Expertise Required for Both Positions:

Education: Engineering degree or equivalent.
Experience: Advanced expertise in offshore project supervision, with participation in recent deep-water projects.
Certifications:
BOSIET, HUET, and GSES (preferred).
A valid Seaman’s Book is mandatory for both positions.
Language: Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Technical Competencies: SURF design engineering, SURF installation engineering/offshore operation, project management, and contractor negotiation.

Context and Environment:
The projects involve operations in SIMOPS environments on live FPSOs, increasing the complexity and risk levels. Coordination with multiple contractors, stringent safety standards, and offshore prefabrication in Angola are key elements of the operational framework.

Start Date: February 2025.
Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of renewal.
Location: Offshore Angola.
Schedule: Rotational (4 weeks on/4 weeks off)
