Construction Lead III
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Lead III who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on, field-based work environment. This role is primarily responsible for overseeing brownfield upstream well site construction projects and retrofits. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience in engineering design reviews, and the ability to manage construction crews while ensuring safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience in engineering design reviews, and the ability to manage construction crews while ensuring safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of brownfield roustabout construction crews.
- Manage construction projects, including design reviews, site walk-downs, material selection, cost tracking, and project close-out.
- Supervise contractor work to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement improved construction practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety.
- Support corrective maintenance activities, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to optimize operations.
- 10+ years of experience in upstream oil and gas construction and maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&ID diagrams and using work management systems (SAP, Maximo, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with construction and installation of mechanical equipment, automation, and instrumentation systems in oil and gas well facilities.
- Experience working with rotating equipment (pumps, gas-driven and electric compressors, etc.).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Provide day-to-day oversight of contractor work and operational priorities.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with energy isolation, LOTO, and critical safety systems.
- Plan and coordinate construction work with field and office-based engineers.
- Maintain compliance with company operating procedures and safety regulations.
- Identify and report potential process safety and operational issues.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Permit to Work system.
- Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.
