Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Control Room Technician on a contract basis. The position will be based in various locations including the north east or England and Surrey.

This is with a major energy company.

Long term contract starting in December 2024.

We are looking for a Control Room Technician (CRT) during the Detailed Engineering phase of a Carbon Capture project.

The successful candidate will be accountable for providing quality input to the design to deliver the required operability and maintainability of plant and process equipment.

The role also includes supporting the progress of operational readiness for commissioning, start-up and operate.

Essential:

15+ years industry experience with 10+ years' experience in a Control Room Technician role.

Ability to network effectively across the client's organisation to access relevant data and knowledge.

Highly self-motivated and able to perform without continuous supervision and able to work as part of a diverse team

Essential:

NVQ Level 3 in Process Operations or equivalent.

Apprenticeship in industry preferred.
