Job Title: Developer II (Business Operation Analyst/ Power Apps Developer)
Location: Fully Remote (Preference for local candidates who can occasionally work onsite)
Job Type: Contract (Potential for FTE conversion based on performance and budget)
Start Date: December 2024
Overview
We are seeking a Developer II with specialized skills in Power Apps development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes and systems to enhance business needs with Power Platform solutions. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and improving PowerApps to support various business functions, with a consultative approach to guide best practices and provide recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Power Platform solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Design and implement workflows using Power Automate to automate business processes.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional, low-code PowerApps solutions.
- Ensure that all solutions are scalable, maintainable, and follow best practices.
- Provide technical support and training for end-users on Power Platform applications.
- Handle Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) including environment management, use of variables, solutions integration with Dataverse and SharePoint.
- Assess existing Power Platform solutions, document, and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (Preferred but not required).
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years in developing PowerApps solutions.
- Proficiency with Power Automate and understanding of backend systems.
- Experience with Power BI and SQL (plus but not required).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in business process analysis and requirements gathering.
- Consulting mindset to advise on PowerApps best practices and standards.
- Ability to provide guidance on what should be implemented in specific business cases.
Additional Information
- Project Scope: The role includes a focus on an existing PowerApp needing improvements and optimization; the candidate should be able to take initiative without requiring detailed guidance.
- Working Hours: The initial 6 weeks may have reduced hours due to observation, project needs, and holidays.
- Interview Process: Pre-screening questions will be provided. There will be 1-2 panel interviews
